This success has also faced tough challenges in developing regions due to poverty, armed conflict, and other emergencies. Large disparities remain. Children of poor households are four times more likely to be out of school than those from rich households. The gap between rural and urban areas remains high. Our organization believes in achieving inclusive and quality education for all and reaffirms the belief that education is one of the most powerful and proven vehicles for sustainable development.
